Dr. Mohammad Rasoulnia Researcher of PEDAR group
Mohammad Rasoulnia is currently a Ph.D. student at Laval University Canada, with a strong background in power systems. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has also led a power systems analysis lab and currently holds the position of a Protection Engineer at PEDAR Group. His skill set is enriched by his proficiency in various tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, EMTP-RV, Protection Relay Testing, and MATLAB/SIMULINK. His educational foundation includes a Master of Science (MSc) degree earned at the University of Tehran, where he focused on Power Systems Protection, Distribution Systems, and Fault Location. This academic background has been provided a solid foundation for his ongoing doctoral research and collaborative work with the PEDAR Group.

Dr. Mehran Keivanimehr Researcher of PEDAR group
Mehran Keivanimehr graduated in Electrical and Computer Engineering with honors from the University of Kashan in 2018, earning his B.Sc. degree. Following his undergraduate studies, Mehran embarked on a significant career phase from September 2019 to July 2022, where he held pivotal roles as a senior member, researcher, and teaching assistant within the PEDAR Group. Working under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Mehdi Zareian, he contributed substantially to various projects, and his research efforts culminated in publications in several journals and conference papers. Mehran's academic journey continued as he commenced his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Florida, a prestigious institution in the United States. Presently, he is actively engaged in his Ph.D. program as a research assistant, continuing to advance his expertise and contribute to the field.

Eng. Foroogh Torki Researcher of PEDAR group
Foroogh Torki is a capable researcher in energy management, Internet of Things, and intelligent systems. She has a master's degree in telecommunication engineering from Yazd University and is committed to optimizing challenges in power networks by using appropriate telecommunications platforms. Her exceptional abilities in designing and implementing electrical installations as a first-grade engineer have established a feasible platform for modeling and simulation.

Dr. Mohammad Reza Maghami Researcher of PEDAR group
Mohammad Reza Maghami is a Research Associate at the Faculty of Humanities, University of Johannesburg, and a member of the Power Electrical Developing Advanced Research (PEDAR). Currently, he working on AI Adoption and development in South Africa. He has worked for Energy University Malaysia as a Research fellow, where he closely worked with TNB R&D, the main power supply company, on projects titled large-scale solar PV penetration into the MV/LV power grid network. He has worked for Alzahra University as a postdoc under Iran’s National Elite Foundation, where he has actively applied his knowledge and skills to investigate exergy on the CHP system. He holds a doctorate in Energy Management from the University of Putra Malaysia (UPM) and was previously a Researcher at UPM's Centre for Advanced Power and Energy Research (CAPER). Additionally, he has three years of experience as an Energy Control Expert at Nectar Consortium Sdn Bhd, where he gained expertise in designing and implementing programmable logic controllers (PLC) for various industrial projects. Dr. Maghami's research interests include renewable energy, exergy, power electronics, EV to the grid, power transmission and distribution, demand response, and control systems. He is an IEEE member, a guest editor for the Processes Journal, and serves as a reviewer for numerous journals. His work has been published in several high-impact journals.
